The marine conservation department- Ocean Affairs Council set to April 28, 2018,was undertake the profession of marine pollution prevention for the Environmental Protection Administration under Executive Yuan. The department of preventing marine pollution, protecting marine environment, maintaining marine ecology, forever to ensure the health of our people and the utilize of marine resources, Besides continuously promoting the operation of marine pollution control, Ocean Affairs Council also enforces the local government to enhance the capability of handlings. In the meanwhile, the Ocean Affairs Council examines the response of mechanism and the power of emergency equipments from local government through various project work implementations. Furthermore, the Ocean Affairs Council encourages the local government to remain the work on marine pollution control in order to manifest the determination of the central and local governments on protecting the marine environment.
